Since childhood I've felt passionately about taking great photos of special places and people, especially my family. When I decided to pursue photography as a profession, I envisioned being more than just another "portrait photographer". My goal is to provide a fun and artistic representation of who you really are.. Capturing my subjects' characters, personalities and spirits through free form portraiture, I utilize traditional poses and photojournalistic techniques. The result is unique expressions of individuals and their beauty. Your choice of locations includes the convenience of my studio, your personal home, or another special setting. Natural surroundings are also a great choice: gardens, parks, playgrounds, with natural light to enhance the authenticity of the experience. I take the same care with each client that I take with my own family. It is an honor to help your family preserve priceless, timeless memories, special days or simple moments.

My photographic studio is located in Cary, North Carolina. I offer baby/child/family/pet sessions as well as corporate and event photography. Sessions are available on an appointment only basis. For portrait sessions, I am flexible to find the best time of day. A session can take place in one of my studios, in your home or at another location (additional fees may apply). Sessions typically last less than an hour, but there are no time constraints on sessions. Payment is due within 5 days of booking your session to hold your reservation (or your appointment will be available for other clients.) Cancellations require 48 hours notice. In case of illness, please reschedule as soon as possible.
I also offer the convenience of online proofing (available for two weeks following your session), so that you may select your portraits in the comfort of your own home. In-studio viewing with me is also available.

Your session will be in the studio and at least one outdoor location.
Clothing – Please bring several changes of clothing. Bring something casual. Bring something more classic, both long and short sleeves, for that timeless picture you won’t be ashamed to see many years down the road (You’ve seen outdated styles in old pictures of your parents right? Pick at least one outfit that will stand the test of time.). Make sure you bring at least one dark top (a turtle neck, crew neck, etc. preferably long sleeved). You can even bring your last formal gown!
Don’t forget the accessories – hats, jewelry, belts, sunglasses, etc.
I also encourage you to bring your “identity” items – things that are all meaningful to you. How you spend your time? What items show the real, you? It can be anything from uniforms, musical instruments, athletic gear or just your favorite pair of boots. This is who you are now in your life!
Girls, makeup is a must. Even if you don’t normally wear it, please consider wearing some for your portraits. If you normally wear makeup, wear no more than you would for an evening out.
Guys, please be aware of 5o’clock shadow. It cannot be touched up. Also, if you wear glasses – bring them but, for best results, have the lenses taken out for your session so there is no glare in your portraits!

The Session
Simple clothing is recommended. Solid fabrics tend to work best – this ensures the portrait is about the person and not the clothing.
Before each session I will spend time helping you and your family feel comfortable. This is important to me as an artist, because I want your true personality to shine through. I request time to interact with young children prior to beginning their session if possible.
A word to parents: Do not be surprised if I ask you to remain at a distance for part of the session. It’s often difficult for a child to maintain eye contact with the camera when a parent is nearby. However, I am always open to suggestions as, of course, you know your child best.
Photography is an art and I attempt to make each portrait uniquely personal. Just as important, I try to make our time together full of energy and fun. My clients come away not only with photos they cherish for years, but with great memories of the experience itself.

Session fees - $75
A session includes the photographer’s time, minor retouching, image editing and clothing consultation. It does not include the cost of prints. The session fee is non-refundable and payment is due within 5 days of booking your session to hold your reservation (or your appointment will be available for other clients.) If a session needs to be rescheduled, the session fee can be applied to the rescheduled appointment. Please give at least 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment.
Print fees - Varies
Portrait pricing varies greatly by the type of portrait art you select. Gift portraits begin around $28 for an 8x10 finished piece. You will be able to choose options that work for your needs after you have viewed the images created for you. Clients often comment that their initial investment has become more valuable over time. Please call for more detailed pricing information.
Senior What I Do
What I do
When will you be a senior again? Your senior year goes by so quickly. Capture who you are at this time of transition!
I don’t do typical head and shoulder portraits. Sessions and settings are created to reflect your unique personality. I shoot with a very trendy commercial feel, but make sure that we cover more traditional looks as well. Getting the balance between what is important to you, the Senior, and what is important to the adults in your life is always taken into account. Whatever your style, I want your portraits to be exactly what YOU Want -- portraits that reflect who you are.

Contemporary Session - $75
This includes studio time and my outdoor location around the studio. I do not limit poses or backgrounds!
Ultimate Session - $125
This includes studio time and a location of your choice. Again, I do not limit poses or backgrounds.

At Suzie Wolf Photography, you decide exactly what fits your exact needs and budget. You’ll never be pressured into getting anything that is not right for you.
You have the option of ala cart print pricing starting at $30.
I also have discounted package pricing for Seniors, including lots of wallets, that start at $259 and also some specialty items and personalized products. Call me for more information on putting together a customized package of prints for sharing with family and friends.
